Ready for winter

I put out some hay, just in case it snowed while I was away from the farm a couple days. Weather man had predicted snow Thanksgiving Day.

On the way to the farm.......Don't let the laid back look fool you........just try to get in the cab with him, he is guarding our lunch and snacks for the day.

What a find for this time of year. Local strawberries, grown in a green house by the Mennonite man who raises all the hydroponic tomatoes. They are great and make good jam.

Hope this keeps the calves in, if not it's back to the old pasture.

I got some local grown hydroponic strawberries Friday and made 8 pints of jam this afternoon. Sure will be good this winter on a cold snowy morning.

More tomatoes

A lot of hard work laying there it those boxes, now in the hands of the customers at the market. Just hope a lot of ppl are wanting to can tomatoes next week.
